Such a simple word that is supposed to sum up everything that happens, grows, or apparently effects us as we travel wearily down our metaphorical paths, occassionally bumping into (and almost strangling) anyone who even attempts some form of enthusiasm. Life...is full of so many wonders, and yet a lot of us find ourselves staring at a computer screen tapping out a rather dry article in a semi-conscious, hypnotic state with music blaring somewhere in the background (Or is it just me?) And deep down, we know we probably would be having much more fun taking the dog for the walk it desperately needs or even just going for an aimless walk outside. I think there is something wrong with the modern human mind which subconciously makes decisions that make us end up as a lump on the couch thinking "If I had just done this back then, I wouldn't be here now...oh well I'll just sit here like an old fart and televise the rest of my pointless life away until I come back as a big beautiful tree (if you believe in such things)" Some of us even make attempts to improve our lifestyles, I'll admit I'm one of them. It never works out does it? You give up because for some reason everything just goes wrong...and when you're a tree you could do so much more for the world so why try to lengthen this life of useless television watching? I hope I'm not the only one (I know it's selfish to wish others failure, but if I'm stuck with it, bloody heck you should be too) So in conclusion, life= dull. Which is amazing.
